Part of owning a dog of any breed is understanding how much grooming they will need on a regular basis. For some dogs, this is a daily requirement. For others, it might be weekly. Over the years we have educated many people on grooming tasks that they had never even considered. It’s more than meets the eye when looking at your dog’s coat. Understanding proper maintenance for the undercoat is over overlooking by well-meaning owners. The tools you have at home for grooming are critical for your dog to be groomed well. We will also discuss nails (both Dremel and clipping), ears (including inside the canal), paws, teeth and more. This class will be led by long time dog handler/grooming task master, Michele Kreager. She has extensive knowledge having shown, handled and groomed conformation dogs for years! This will be a no dog class with demo dogs so you can take the time to observe and understand the requirements of grooming for your dog.
